Yuwie - 10 days later - report back

On the 12th of this month I posted a story about Yuwie - the online social network that pays you to do all the things you would do on a site like Facebook. This is the report-back from 10 days later.

Some comments :

1) It is great fun meeting people from all over the world - granted not all will be become your best friend but they are certainly interesting.

2) The more friends you add to your circle, the higher your number of page views and therefore your payout.

3) There is some genuinely interesting writing in the notices and blogs on the site - sure there is some junk but you soon learn whose stuff to read and whose to leave alone!

4) With a little bit of effort (about 1-2 hours a day) it is possible to develop a considerable number of page views over time. At the time of writing I had the following stats :

This network is growing at an incredible rate. When I signed up I was number 62 099 - the latest figures show the number of sign-ups to be 88 583! That's an increase of almost 26500 in just over 10 days! Such rapid growth is encouraging to the advertisers on Yuwie who will now be paying more to have their ads shown - good news for us as it means higher revenue for Yuwie who share it with us!
